Kenny Alyea
Kenny Alyea was hired as a golf course laborer here at Apple Creek Country Club in 1980. He learned about the golf course the hard way, he cut cups, raked sand traps, mowed, helped with irrigation repairs, and laid sod throughout the entire course.
Kenny has remained a dedicated employee for the last 27 years. He was promoted to Shop Foreman/Assistant Superintendent in 1986 where he gained valuable experience in the Maintenance Shop. Kenny accepted the position of Superintendent in 2005 and has since done a great job of maintaining the golf course, organizing his staff, and most importantly keeping our members happy.
Kenny is also a Certified Pesticide Applicator and a member of the North Central Turf Grass Association. He regularly attends seminars to further his education in the field of Turf Grass management. Kenny is a great asset to Apple Creek. His knowledge of golf course management is immeasurable.
